Brendan Lyons, President

Brendan is the President of Controlled Products Systems Group, the largest wholesale distributor of Access Solutions in the United States. He is responsible for leading all facets of the company.

Prior to this role, held several roles at the Chamberlain Group (CGI). These roles included Chief of Staff to the CEO, where he was responsible for corporate development, strategic planning, investor relations, and corporate communications.

Prior to joining CGI, Brendan held a number roles at Accenture including one as corporate development executive responsible for defining and executing the company’s inorganic growth strategy through mergers, acquisitions, joint-ventures, minority investments, and divestitures.

Brendan received his BA from Georgetown University.


Ken Sittman, Director of Operations

Ken Sittman is responsible for managing operations for CPSG including, the procurement, transportation, material control, and distribution of product across our 36-branch footprint. Ken has been in the access control industry for over 14 years, beginning his career with CPSG in 2006. Ken has held multiple roles within the organization and all over the country, including Assistant Branch Manager in 2011 and West Coast Purchasing Manager in 2012. In April 2014, Ken took on the role of Branch Manager in Washington DC and served as Northeast Regional Manager for Northeast Region. In his most recent role, Ken served as Director, Supply Chain where he has played an integral role in shaping how CPSG manages its inventory.

Ken holds a BA in Political Science from Cal State San Marcos and an MBA from University of Maryland-Global Campus. Ken resides with his wife and two sons in Chicago, IL.


Andy Martin, CFO

Andy has served as the Director of Finance for CPSG since October 2015. Prior to joining CPSG, Andy had 11 years of broad finance and accounting experience, most recently as a Director at McGladrey (now RSM) in the M&A Transaction Advisory Services practice. Andy also has experience in audit and commercial finance and is a licensed CPA in Colorado.

Andy holds a BBA in Finance & Marketing and a Master of Accountancy both from the University of Iowa.


Ray Elliott, Senior Advisor

Ray Elliott serves as Senior Advisor to the President. Ray also works closely with CPSG’s executive management team on strategic planning, business intelligence, and transformation initiatives. Prior to his current role, Ray served as CFO at CPSG since 2001. Prior to joining CPSG, he was Retail Controller of Big O Tires, the nation’s largest independent tire distributor. With 20 years of corporate financial management of distribution and manufacturing companies.

Mr. Elliott holds a BS in Accounting from Bob Jones University and received his CPA certificate in 1988.


Jim Lema, National Sales Manager

Jim Lema is responsible for managing all sales teams for CPSG Nationwide. Jim is a 33-year veteran of the Parking Control, Access Control and Perimeter Access Industries. Jim began his career in the Access Control Industry as a Customer Care Representative for Porta King Building Systems in 1985, gaining promotions to South Central Regional Sales Manager and National Parking Products Manager. In 1994, Jim opened a St. Louis branch office for Signature Control Systems selling parking control systems. He later transferred to the Perimeter Protection Products [P3] Wholesale Division in 2006. He later joined CPSG in 2010 with the Acquisition of Perimeter Protection Products P3.

Jim Graduated from Missouri State University in 1983 with A BS in Business Administration/Management with a Minor in Marketing. Jim is also a Certified Automatic Gate System Designer CAGSD.

Bill Rushing, Business Development Manager

As Manager of Business Development, Bill is responsible for managing CPSG’s Regional Teams nationwide. Bill joins CPSG from Southwest Automated Security (SAS) and has over 21 years of experience in our industry. In his most recent role, Bill served as the National Sales Manager at SAS. Bill began his career in 1999 with AGES in Dallas. In 2002 he worked in outside sales at SAS where he was instrumental in helping to grow the business from two to 15 locations. Over the course of his career, he has established relationships with customers and supplier partners all over the US.

Zach Eichenberger, Director of Marketing

Zach Eichenberger has served as the Director, Marketing for CPSG Nationwide for the last six years. Zach has been in the industry since 1995 starting his career as a Gate and Access installer/service tech. In 1999 he moved to wholesale distribution, managing Sales and Technical Support. Zach is passionate about products, training and the customer experience. He holds certifications of CAGOI and CAGSD and has volunteered for several industry organizations. He currently sits on the American Fence Association Board holding the position as Director/Chair of Awards, Local AFA Chapter CFCA as Treasurer/Chair of Education for the West Coast Fence Show, regular trainer at the AFA Business School, and am a voting member of Underwriters Laboratory Standards and Technical Panel.

Jamie Emerson, Marketing Communications Manager

Jamie Emerson serves as Marketing and Communications Manager and is responsible for leading multiple aspects of CPSG’s national marketing & communications initiatives including brand awareness, public relations, social media, corporate brand management and implementing and managing integrated corporate marketing strategies. Prior to joining CPSG in 2019, Jamie spent three years as Corporate Communications Manager for Chamberlain Group, a multi-national corporation and a market leader in the access and related security markets. In 2013 Jamie joined LiftMaster as Marketing, Communications Manager, the number one brand of professionally installed residential garage door openers, as well as a leading manufacturer of commercial door operators, residential and commercial gate operators, telephone entry systems and related access control products.
 

Mike Gliebe, Regional Operations Manager Midwest

Mike Gliebe serves as the Operations Manager for CPSG’s Midwest Region and manages the operations of the company’s Chicago, Nashville, Columbus, Cleveland and St. Louis branches. Mike joined Controlled Products in 2011. Prior to that Mike worked as a sales professional for North American Refractories, a manufacturer of heat resistant products, used in furnaces of steel mills, aluminum and copper plants, as well as foundries.
 

Cesar Bran, Regional Operations Manager Southern California

Cesar Bran serves as CPSG’s Regional Operations Manager in the Southern California Region. Cesar has worked in the Access Control industry for over 14 years, starting his career as a sales tech. Prior to his current role, Cesar served as Branch manager at CPSG’s Corona, CA branch from 2010 – 2013. Before joining CPSG, Cesar was the Engineering Manager for a Circuit Board Manufacturer, KCA Electronics from 1996 – 2006.

David Gulyas, Regional Manager Southeast

David Gulyas serves as the Regional Operations Manager for CPSG’s Southeast Region. David has been in the access control industry since1997. Beginning his career with Royce Parking Control, Hollywood, FL, the largest Federal APD installing dealer in the US who also handled commercial, residential, and Industrial service calls and installations. David joined CPSG in 2003 and has served as Regional Manager since 2005.

Michael Huerta, Regional Manager Northwest

Michael Huerta has served as Northwest Regional Manager for CPSG since 2016. Michael began his career with CPSG in 2010 where he joined as Sales Manager. Michael started in the industry in 1993 at Sentex System where he started in the mail room and through a series of promotions, worked in Inside Sales for many years. When Sentex was acquired by LiftMaster in 2000, Michael transitioned to National Product Trainer for all product lines, then moved to LiftMaster sales in 2013. Michael one of CPSG’s product industry experts and is a National Trainer leading a wide variety of courses for CPSG-University, a comprehensive classroom and hands-on training experience for installers and service technicians.
